It wasn’t too long at all before a suitable offering turned up. To cut a long story short, I ended up buying a two year old part built (rolling chassis stage) Robin Hood 2B Plus. It was pretty much complete (OK so there’s a few donor parts missing) apart from a Hood and a spare wheel.
