Cycle Wings Not too many words for this update. I've only been working on three things, none of which are quite finished yet but well on their way.

Cycle Wings
I managed to borrow a welder (thanks Barry) and had a go at welding up the support brackets. Once welded, I covered them in filler and then sanded them down. Still a bit more to do but they're looking quite good. A bit more filling and sanding is all that's required now before final painting. With regards to actually fitting the cycle wings, I wasn't 100% confident of my welding prowess so I've used rivnuts to be really sure that they'll hold OK.

Boot Lining
Much cutting of cardboard (for templates) was in order here and these are now the finished component parts. I've also made provision for getting at the top rear suspension mountings by incorporating some access panels. Now that these parts are all painted on the underside, they're ready for final fitment. Once this is done, I can then turn my attention to an actual boot cover.

Seat Subframes
After working out the required angle for the seats, I fabricated up some angle iron subframes. This gives about a four inch lift at the font of the seats which I'm hoping should be just about right. The subframes just now need welding together and then can be painted. Then it should be a fairly straightforward task of bolting them onto the floor, strengthened from underneath with some more angle iron.

All in all then, not bad progress considering Christmas and the New Year break.
